Belron Client Conference: TODAY TO TOMORROW

This year’s conference will consider the major trends and challenges impacting us TODAY and those we are likely to face TOMORROW.

Carlos Brito, our new CEO, will open our conference for the first time setting us up for a fantastic two-day event which will both inform and inspire through keynote sessions and panel discussion. During the two days we will hear from Paul Polman, business leader, campaigner and former CEO of Unilever, Magnus Lindkvist, Trendspotter Extraordinaire as well as Sheryl Connelly, previously Chief Futurist at Ford Motor Company.

Across both days we will cover the topics that are top of mind for our clients. Bryan Reimer Ph.D from MIT Centre for Transportation & Logistics will consider the challenges facing autonomous driving, and recently announced experts from the insurance and leasing  world Miel Horsten, COO of Ayvens and Dr Christian Sahr, Managing Director of Allianz Centre for Technology, will cover a range of topics including developing mobility solutions, electrification of the vehicle parc, the impact of ADAS on claims frequency and severity, and data access.

With AI such a hot topic we are excited to announce Inma Martinez as a keynote speaker. Inma is a world recognised A. I. Scientist and Big Data expert who will consider the possibilities for ‘super AI’ and how AI is being used by vehicle manufacturers.

Throughout our two day programme we will cover a number of vital areas all through the dual lenses of what is impacting us TODAY but equally what is likely to face us TOMORROW.

Topics will include:

  • The key global trends influencing our customers, partners and suppliers.
  • The challenges faced on the journey towards autonomous driving.
  • Shifting market dynamics for legacy vehicle manufactures.
  • Changing attitudes to mobility, vehicle purchase and ownership.
  • Future trends and innovations in the insurance industry.
  • The impact of Artificial Intelligence in the automotive world.
  • And how to bring the whole supply chain together to help tackle the climate crisis.
